Don’t Be SAD: My Interview with Huffington Post
Although the shortest day of the year has passed us by, we are only getting started with the winter blues. Most people in the north bottom out in February, not the darkest times of December. Late sunrises and early sunsets, bone-chilling wind and treacherous sidewalks, seem to have gone on for toooo looong.
If you are effected by Seasonal Affective Disorder, you have probably already heard that interventions like vitamin D, full spectrum light, exercise, carbohydrates, laughter, meditation and increased self-care are highly beneficial. You may also seek therapy, take a vacation, or combine the two in a growth retreat to a warm, bright location.
In a recent interview with The Huffington Post, I share a new perspective on beating the winter blues. As is my way, I give you a chance to go deeper into recovery and even use this darker, more reflective (or “yin”) time to bolster your overall growth and potential for happiness.
